He looks just like Tenchi!
...Only cuter and sexier. The artwork is exquisite and really
justifies the fact that women find themselves falling all
over Gen Hiraga, unlike in Tenchi Muyo where you wonder what
the heck is it that the girls see in the lead character. There
are so many beautiful shots that I couldn't help but enjoy
capturing screen images, especially of the women.
The voice quality is a bit weird though, especially in the
English dub. Gen sounds like an old business man instead of
a college student. The Jap version is still more bearable.
The story is as rich as Tenchi Muyo. There's so much history
as well as mystery. You know what an aqua-permanence is? He
he. Well, that's one of the things that drive women to chase
our little hero. And since aqua-permanence sounds a lot like
liquid...well, you get the drift.
You'd also be surprised that somebody's mother looks like
Achika (Tenchi's mom). The excitement of unravelling the secrets
of the Hiraga family is an erotic blend of comedy and suspense/horror
so entertainment value is quite high. The sex scenes aren't
too explicit, but they're just enought to tickle your horny
cels and your funny bones. Hmmm. This anime actually reminds
me of Spaceship Agga Ruter!
A little warning, though: There are hints of incestuous overtones.
